• What form of payment can I expect for my goods?
    • At our public scrap recycling facility, we can pay cash for most goods, or by check if preferred.  For aluminum/copper radiators, by law we must pay by check.  
    • For business to business, our invoice cycle is weekly and we will cut a check the following week for your pick ups.
  • I need pick-up service on the outskirts of town, can you provide this?
    • Yes!  We not only service the Phoenix Metro area, we also service Wickenberg to Florence, New River to Maricopa! We will be there for YOU!  For some zip codes, a nominal trip charge may be discounted off the unit price.  Just call to schedule a pick-up and we will be there!
  • When can my items be picked up?
    • We offer same day service Monday through Saturday, just call our representative to schedule a time frame and we will be there!
  • I have a construction job.  Can you help?
    • We absolutely can.  We can leave containers of various sizes on site for you to fill on your schedule.  There are restrictions as to what can be put into containers, so be sure to call and the Tin Man team can make sure everything goes smoothly on your job!
  • Can I bring my items to you?
    • Absolutely!  We are conveniently located by the airport in central Phoenix.  Or winter hours are 7 - 3:30 Monday - Friday.
  • Can I sell items that have freon in them?
    • Yes!  Old appliances, such as AC units, can contain refrigerant, which can be an ozone depleting gas.  There are businesses out there that will cut refrigerant lines and release this into the atmosphere so they can scrap the metal.  At Tin Man, we will recover that refrigerant and dispose of it properly, adhering to all EPA requirements.
  • Do you keep refrigerant logs?
    • Yes we track all refrigerant reclamation adhering to EPA guidelines.  All techs are EPA certified.
